PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Design a new 152 room boutique version of the upscale Cambria Hotel & Suites brand in the El Segundo area of Los Angeles to fit within its executive corporate context near Northrop Grumman and the Los Angeles International Airport.

Situated near the LAX airport and a multitude of upscale corporate clients, the design for the Cambria Hotel and Suites El Segundo is an urban contemporary take on a location where “aviation meets the sea.” The rigor and sophistication of machines tailored for flight and the projects juxtaposition to the Pacific Ocean are both celebrated in this design that attempts to blend these influences to create a “golden state of mind” for guests that reflects the LA California experience.
