PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Brief: Design Intent was to presents the concept of organic, health and environmentally green echoing the breathtaking surrounding environment

Concept: Resort is located on the bank of the Yang Zhong Lake, suburb area of Kunming in Yunnan Province. The interior was inspired by the local culture and merged with the Mediterranean existing style. Organic life brought into the interior follow the beautiful surrounding nature and creates a green interior environment. Interesting geometrical patterns taken from the local ethnic groups fashion are incorporated as carved details, fabric patterns, colorful accents and wall applications. They transition through all spaces. Lobby ceiling resembles a carved Chinese Folding Fan, illuminating the lobby as you first walk in. Three different natural stones selected for the floor, applied in a random pattern surrounding a circular fountain designed as if it is at your fingertips. The beautiful outdoor views were maximized to bring in more light and create a serene feeling as you enjoy a health indoor environment.

Outcome: The renovated Golf Resort has been transformed into an elegant, updated resort offering a healthy experience and attracting more and more domestic guests as well as now foreign guests.
