PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Brief: To create engaging spaces that will build smarter connections amongst people, work groups, spaces & technology.
Concept: With influences from Science, Knowledge & the Environment, we have embraced the idea of ’the lab’. The notion of working within a laboratory fosters a sense of place and identity within the workplace. Our inspiration has anchored and driven our concept to help build an environment which is attuned to better ways of working.
Outcome: Science forms patterns of geometric movement through the connection of formulas. Through the use of kinetic shapes we create meeting environments in which people can exchange & process knowledge.
Knowledge extracts data from research through the threading of evidence; forming a layering effect of information. The work point areas connect the pathways between the meeting environments & social hubs forming the thread between science & environment.
The Environment engages both the science & knowledge to support its well-being. Through the mapping of social spaces it will promote opportunities to create a social culture through Ad-HOC & breakout spaces.
The combination of these elements has identified a spatial and pattern language and enhanced an active & dynamic cultural scene.
